design process
Logo Concepts
Multiple sketches were developed for the app’s logo, as this would both capture the attention of new users and serve as the software’s focal point.
Art Board
A new user interface art board was created for the reimagined application which used more intuitive iconography as well as bright colors and font types.
Personas
Personas were created to mimic the wide range of personalities for possible app users, taking into consideration the range of rocketry skill levels.
Information Architecture
An information architecture was created for the redesigned application which improved on the user experience and added in more functionality.
User Flows
Several user flows were produced to show how possible users would navigate the redesigned RocketRecovery application
solution
The completed redesign featured a more intuitive user experience, more modern iconography, clearer navigation, and an enhanced feature set to meet the needs of the entire model rocketry community.
